16% In the 2014-2015 academic year, only 16% of district students were enrolled in high-performing schools.

15 As of 2015, our district included 15 “priority schools” – a designation given by the state to schools in the bottom 5% for achievement.

18.4 Nashville’s average ACT score in public high schools is 18.7, which is significantly lower than both the state and national averages.
